Meeting of the management of the Roza Otunbaeva Initiative Foundation with partners during the working trip to the People's Republic of China

Foundation, Roza Kaiykova, held working meetings with Chinese partners.
The staff of the Foundation met with Adyl Jumaturdy, book editor and
researcher at the Institute of National Literature of the Chinese Academy of
Social Sciences. During the meeting, both sides noted the productive and
efficient cooperation within the project to translate and publish the book “Xi
Jinping: The Governance of China”. A proposal was made to develop and publish a
modern Kyrgyz-Chinese and Chinese-Kyrgyz dictionary.
Another meeting was held with the leadership of the Center for
Broadcasting to Europe and Asia (Publishing House "Zhenmin Huabao")
under the Office of the Administration of the People's Republic of China for
Publication and Dissemination of Foreign-Language Literature. The parties
reaffirmed their commitment to mutually beneficial cooperation in cultural and
humanitarian fields and discussed proposals for organizing reciprocal visits of
delegations from publishing organizations to exchange experiences.
During the visit, the Executive Director and Foundation staff also
visited the office and learned about the activities of Dolphin Books, a
publishing house established in 1986. Dolphin Books specializes in children's
books, educational and humanitarian books, and aims to introduce Chinese
stories to young people around the world. The publisher is also exploring new
business areas, including educational platforms for AR-based science
popularization and innovative book distribution systems.
Both sides recognized significant potential for further cooperation and
expressed their strong intention to cooperate in translating and publishing
children's books on scientific and educational topics in Kyrgyz, as well as
translating children's books by Kyrgyz authors into Chinese for distribution in
China.
