STEM4ALL x MENTORING HER: Empowering Financial Literacy

On January 16, 2024, the STEM4ALL x Mentoring Her project hosted a lecture
titled "Financial Security Basics." The purpose of this event was to
foster financial resilience and equip girls and women in science, technology,
and innovation with the knowledge to construct a secure financial future.
The guest lecturer for the event was Nazira Birnazarova, a specialist from DosCredo
Bank. She shared practical insights on financial literacy, offering valuable
tools for the effective management of finances to the participants.
The lecture drew in 24 online attendees, all of whom expressed their
gratitude to the STEM4ALL x Mentoring Her project for providing practical
insights that they can apply in their day-to-day activities.

About STEM4ALL x Mentoring Her:
In response to the findings of the “Needs Assessment of STEM Women in Kyrgyzstan” (2023) report by UNDP Kyrgyzstan, the “STEM4ALL x Mentoring Her” project is initiated by UNDP and implemented by the international public foundation “Roza Otunbaeva Initiative” as part of the Digital x Scale Accelerator programme funded by the Government of Japan. The project aims to address the challenges faced by girls and women in STEM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Math). By connecting industry and community leaders with mentorship support, the initiative aims to foster personal and professional growth.
