STEM4ALL x Mentoring Her learning sessions: Time Management Lectures for Mentees

January 10-11, 2023 - Lectures on “Time Management” were held at the American University of Central Asia. These lectures, part of the STEM4ALL x Mentoring Her project, aimed to build soft skills for girls and women in the fields of Technology, Science, and Innovation.

The learning events are organized by the International Public Foundation "The Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva" within the framework of the Digital x programme initiated by the UNDP and co-financed by the Government of Japan.

Professor Gulnara Kurmanova from American University of Central Asia, a renowned expert in time management, led the sessions. She shared practical tips on managing time effectively, drawing from her rich professional experience. Her insights were a source of inspiration for the participants, helping them to make better daily decisions and improve their productivity.

There were 76 women participants on the lectures, with 25 in person and 51 online. The participants expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to enhance their skills in teime management and boost their confidence, which is crucial in their professional growth.

In response to the findings of the “Needs Assessment of STEM Women in Kyrgyzstan” (2023) report by UNDP Kyrgyzstan, the “STEM4ALL x Mentoring Her” project is initiated by UNDP and implemented by the international public foundation “Roza Otunbaeva Initiative” as part of the Digital x Scale Accelerator programme funded by the Government of Japan.
