Regional Forum on "Gender Advocacy in Central Asia: Challenges and Opportunities, from Theory to Practice" is launched in Almaty

The main goal of Regional Forum 2022,  "Gender Advocacy in Central Asia: Challenges and Opportunities, from Theory to Practice",  held in Almaty, Kazakhstan on November 3-5, 2022, is to provide a platform uniting professionals working on gender equality and gender advocacy in Central Asian countries in order to share knowledge, experience, innovative approaches, and mutual support.


The event is based on a participatory approach that puts participants at the centre of the programme, exploring their personal and institutional experiences and expertise.


The Forum will be attended by D. Kendirbaeva, Executive Director of the Roza Otunbaeva Initiative International Public Foundation, who will deliver a presentation on "Effective Public Policy Advocacy for Sustainable Development". The participation of the representative of the Foundation will allow participants to learn about existing regional perspectives, approaches and tools.
