Air pollution control trainings started in Bishkek suburbs

On May 30-31, 2,022 inhabitants of Ak-Orgo, Ak-Ordo, and Ala-Too housing communities of Bishkek City, took part in trainings on combating  air pollution within the project, "Konushumda taza aba" (Clean Air in my Neighborhood). 


The aim of the introductory training was to introduce the inhabitants to the project, "Clean Air in My Neighborhood", and to form the groups of activists and volunteers who will participate in the second phase of the project.


Bekzhan Otorov, coordinator of the project, "Clean Air in My Neighborhood", spoke about the relevance of the project, its objectives, and encouraged the training participants to combat environmental pollution with joint efforts.  As a result of the training, groups of volunteers and activists were formed to participate in the second phase of the project, which will be held in the  State Institution "Innovation Center".


Recall the International Public Foundation "Roza Otunbaeva Initiative", together with the "Innovation Center" State Institution and the "Unison Group" Public Foundation, with the support of the International Organization for Migration, launched the project, "Konushumda taza aba" (Clean Air in My Neighborhood), aimed at reducing air pollution.
