The winners of the COVID-19 prevention competition received their prizes

Secondary school № 48 and school, “Ilim Osh” are pilot schools of the project "COVID-19 Preventative Measures and Improvement of General Level of Hygiene and Sanitary Culture Among Schoolchildren in Kyrgyzstan" in Osh city, received prizes.


Teams of secondary school №48 and school, "Ilim Osh,” actively participated in the project despite the distance. The pilot schools from Osh participated online in all events and training sessions held within the project.


More than 30 competitive materials (7 school scenarios, 15 classroom lessons, and 19 video clips of schoolchildren) were submitted to the competition.


The winner in the, category of "The Best Scenario for COVID-19 Prevention Information Week" was school 48 from Osh city. Teachers and students of “Ilim Osh” school received prizes for the Best Script of a class lesson and creation of a video clip.


The competition was organised by the Roza Otunbayeva Initiative International Public Foundation with the aim of promoting sustainable skills in personal hygiene and sanitation among schoolchildren.

 

The project "COVID-19 Preventative Measures and Improvement of General Level of Hygiene and Sanitary Culture Among Schoolchildren in Kyrgyzstan" is implemented by the "Roza Otunbaeva Initiative" International Public Foundation with support of UNESCO Participation Programme (Paris) in partnership with the National Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic for UNESCO and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
