Roza Otunbayeva spoke at the opening of the first session of the Academy of Civic Education 2021

The Academy of Civic Education is an informal,
permanent platform which seeks to form a pool of active, committed and
progressive people of Kyrgyzstan who are leaders from different spheres,
regions and professions. They share universal values of democracyand
humanitarian methods of development, and they recognize the
necessity and importance of the rule of law and its partner - the civil society
in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The annual recruitment of participants is not a
singular mobilization project. It is a community of equals - active, reflective
critical thinkers who are successful in their creative and professional
niches. It is an open forum for discussion, new discoveries, and reflection.
The traditional introductory address at the opening of
the first session of the Academy of Civic Education 2021, dedicated to the 30th
anniversary of independence of the Kyrgyz Republic, was delivered by Roza
Otunbayeva, former President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
