Media about us: Eco-meetings at Zoological Museum are conducted for children in Bishkek

Since June 15, 2015 campaign named "Eco-meetings at Zoological Museum" has started its work in the Zoological Museum of Biology and Soil Institute of the National Sciences Academy. Over 300 children from preparatory grades from schools 48, 70,74, 58, 16, 32, 18, 91, 50 and 55 have attended the event. It is reported by the "Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva" International Public Foundation.


The event is conducted in the framework of the eco-project "Think Globally, Act Locally- promoting environmental responsibility among children and youth" .


In context of campaign representatives from the Institute of Biology hold exciting tours around the museum for children. Also organizers show videos concerning respectful attitude towards the environment and conduct knowledge contest on ecology where winners as prizes receive interesting books.


The event was organized by "Roza Otunbayeva Initiative" International Public Foundation in collaboration with the Department of Education of Bishkek City Hall and the Biology and Soil Institute of the National Sciences Academy.


Eco-meetings will be held till June 26 between 10 am and 1pm. Next week Zoological Museum will host children from preparatory grades form schools 49, 88, 46, 51, 40, 79, 83, 78, 7 and 27.
