Members of the coalition «For Open Education» took part in the CIT forum

Representatives of the coalition "For Open Education" made a presentation at the V Forum of the Kyrgyzstan Information Technology CIT-2015. Chairman of the Coalition Chorobek Saadanbekov spoke about the history of creation, plans and the conditions for entry into the Coalition. Also, the Coalition initiated a demonstration round debate on open educational resources, with the participation of the team "Real Barsa" and "Zhez Tandau" of KTU "Manas".

The event raised issues of copyright, e-governance, open data and e-education, information security and personal data protection, IT-support and business start-ups in Kyrgyzstan, as well as the main trends in the Internet.

For reference: The Coalition "For Open Education" is a volunteer association of individuals and legal entities operating in the field of education, science, culture and information and communication technologies to develop and promote the ideas of free access to knowledge and open educational resources ("SPA"). Membership in the Coalition is open to all. All persons who share the goals and objectives of the Coalition and are able to contribute to the promotion of open education in Kyrgyzstan are invited to participate in the activities of the Coalition.
