Trainings will be held as part of the activities on financing local initiatives

On March 4-6, in the cities of Batken and Razzakov, trainings will be held for initiators and developers of projects selected within the framework of financing local initiatives.
The
training will provide information on how to develop and implement business and
social projects aimed at climate change adaptation, gender equality and social
cohesion. The training will also include practical exercises. Projects of
successful participants will be considered for funding in the second stage of
the competition.
The event
is organized within the framework of the "Women as a Pillar of Peace"
project funded by the UN Peacebuilding Fund.
The aim of this project is to develop the institutional capacity of
women's civil society organizations as a basis for addressing the issue of
climate security in the context of peacebuilding in Kyrgyzstan, and to create
an enabling environment for their participation in decision-making at the
strategic level.
