A meeting with the spouse of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic was held

On February 8, 2024, representatives of the International Public Foundation Roza Otunbaeva Initiative met with Mrs. Goda Yuri, wife of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan in the Kyrgyz Republic Goda Hideki.

Roza Kaiykova, Executive Director of the Roza Otunbaeva Initiative Foundation, informed Mrs. Goda Yuri about the publishing activities of the organization and presented her with the book “Manas - the Heroic Epic of the Kyrgyz” published by the Foundation. Mrs. Goda Yuri praised the publishing efforts of the Foundation and expressed her appreciation for its work. She also donated 40 copies of the book "Friendship" in Kyrgyz and Russian, which presents the cultures of the Japanese and Kyrgyz peoples, promotes friendship, and describes the life of a girl who studied in Japan.

Mrs. Goda Yuri showed interest in the Foundation's projects and initiatives and expressed her desire to participate in the "Stars Read" campaign and other events.

Both parties concluded the meeting by expressing their mutual interest in strengthening cultural ties and promoting bilateral cooperation.
