A Poetry Evening "Taazim" was held in the social institution "House of Hope"

On October 26, 2023 in "House of Hope", a social stationary institution for the elderly and disabled of Bishkek, an evening of poetry "Taazim" was held.

The event was organized by the International Public Foundation "Roza Otunbaeva Initiative" in cooperation with the Literary Club "New Wave".

The poetry evening "Taazim" (Tribute) is intended to draw attention to the problems and needs of the elderly in the "House of Hope" and to uplift their spirits.

At the event the works of T. Kojomberdiev, S. Esenin, K. Taalaibek uulu, V. Listomirov, A. Blok, E. Asadov, A. Pushkin, Duishenbek uulu, M. Makhova, E. Turdukul uulu, U. Omokeev, M. Mamatzhanov and others were performed.

During the event, the residents of the nursing home also demonstrated their talent by reading their own poems. Zarina Mukambetova, Larisa Akimkina, Musina Julia read their poems, Evgeny Vinogradov sang a song of the group "Time Machine", and Ashyrbuu Abdrakhmanova sang a melodious song "Naryndan zhazgan salam kat".

At the poetry evening, the residents of the nursing home, listening to the works, recalled their youth, reflected on the songs dedicated to humanity and sang melodious songs with accompaniment. This poetry evening lifted their spirits and gave them unforgettable moments.

Roza Kaiykova, Executive Director of the Roza Otunbaeva Initiative Foundation, addressed the participants about the purpose of the event, wished them good health and donated books published by the Foundation to the library of the institution.

Erkingul Abdyldaeva, the director of the "House of Hope", expressed her gratitude and presented a letter of thanks for the event organized by the Foundation, wishing the creative group success.
