First Lady of Kyrgyzstan, Aigul Japarova, attended the Altyn Kazyk interactive festival for parents and children, dedicated to International Children's Day.

In her welcoming speech, she congratulated all children on the holiday.

"This event is very important because if a child grows up in a loving and caring family, they will be happy throughout their life and become a source of pride not only for their family but also for their country. It is the responsibility of the family to instill the right values in a child that they can rely on in the future. A supportive environment and a loving family are crucial for a child's proper and healthy development," she said.

Aigul Japarova urged parents to teach their children good habits, promote healthy eating, and discourage excessive use of gadgets. She stressed the importance of parents spending quality time with their children, engaging them in various interesting and educational activities. As a grandmother, mother, and wife, she expressed her wish for all children to be happy and healthy. She called on all women in the country to raise their children with love and care.

The Altyn Kazyk Festival is organized by the Roza Otunbaeva Initiative Foundation in cooperation with the Supara Ethno-Complex. The aim of the festival is to raise parents' awareness of early childhood development based on the latest scientific research and taking into account national values.

During the festival, guests also learned how national values contribute to the development of essential life skills in children. For example, lullabies help expand a child's vocabulary and strengthen the bond with parents, while traditional games promote early cognitive, mathematical, fine motor, and social skills. Additionally, the use of felt and wool in various activities stimulates the child's sensory sensitivity.

The event was attended by Octiabr Kapalbaev, Head of the Department of Policy Development, Monitoring, and Analysis of Reforms at the Department of Political and Economic Studies of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Gulnara Baatyrova, Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Janylsynzat Turganbaeva, Head of the Supara Ethnic Complex, Christine Jaulmes, Executive Director of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), and Maria Dogan, wife of the Ambassador of Turkey to Kyrgyzstan.
