STEM Camp for the participants of the "Girls in Science" project

November 1 to 5, 2022, the STEAM Innovation College at Osh State University held a STEAM camp for participants of the Girls in Science Project.


The five-day camp included workshops on graphic design, microcosm, chemistry and innovation, and web development for girls from pilot schools in Osh city and Kara-Suu district. Also mentors of the project organized in English Moving club and Talking club, held workshops on Microcosm, innovation and chemistry, hatha yoga and handicrafts.


The goal of the STEM camp was to engage schoolgirls in science, technology, engineering and art, as well as to popularize STEM education among teenage girls and share mentoring experiences in the Girls in Science Project.


The UNICEF project "Girls in Science" is implemented by the Roza Otunbaeva Initiative, the Child Protection Center, and the AUCA Innovation College.
