2016: "Development Centres on Jailoo"

In summer 2016, 117 Jailoo Day Care Centres operated
in the pastures of seven regions and the number of children attending
"Development Centres on Jailoo" exceeded 2,900. An innovation in the
year was the "Konok Mugalim" teacher exchange programme. As part of
this programme, five educators from the southern regions and five from the
northern regions, conducted master classes at
development centres in Jailoo and exchanged their views and experiences. For
the first time, at the initiative of the Roza Otunbaeva Initiative IPF and with
the participation of specially qualified specialists, a medical examination of
the health of children and their parents was conducted in August in several
regions of Kyrgyzstan and at the "Development Centres on Jailoo". An
ecological camp was organised on the basis of the high-altitude kindergarten
"Ananayka" in the basin of the Chon Kyzyl Suu river. It was attended
by children from the local orphanage and children of herders from nearby
pastures.
