Today the entire country, all of Kyrgyzstan stood in mournful silence paying tribute to those killed in the large-scale fighting on the border with Tajikistan. This horrifying and inhumane event, the grief and pain have united our people in the deepest condemnation of any forms of violence.
In these difficult days for the country, we wholeheartedly support the families of the victims; we wish strength and a speedy recovery to the injured, courage and resilience to all citizens of the country.
We mourn and share the sorrow together with the families, relatives and friends of those who perished in the armed conflict at the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.
