An evening of women poets, dedicated to International Women's Day, was held on March 6, 2012. This event, sponsored by the Foundation, has become an annual event to develop the potential of women poets in the Kyrgyz Republic.

In June of 2012, the first poetry and prose recitation competition for children and teenagers of all ages was organised with the help of “Ticket School” educational centre in Bishkek.

Literary evenings and reading clubs, dedicated to famous poets and writers, are held to promote the value of reading and literature among young generations in Kyrgyzstan. An evening of poetry and music, dedicated to the 870th anniversary of one of the biggest names in world poetry, Nizami Ganjavi, Azerbaijani poet and philosopher, was held in November of  2012.  An exhibition of Nizami's books, as well as a number of works about him and his life, were presented at the National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Foundation also participated in the “First Central Asian Book Forum and Literary Festival” held in November 2012 in Bishkek.
