STEM Diary: Osh Technological University

January 17, 2016, 06:00

Osh Technological University started its own work on their campus with the natural-technical course winter school (STEM). Like the rest of the schools, studies began January 11 with the support of The “Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva” IPF.

In recent years, all village schools have desired to send students to study medicine, economics, and law at university, and this winter school provides a great opportunity for students to know the great importance technical specialists play in the development of our society.

Thirty upper-class female students take mathematics, physics, chemistry, Kyrgyz language, and English language classes every day, Monday—Friday, 8:30—17:00. Teachers of Osh City’s U. Salieva Boarding School for Gifted Children teach the classes.
