The exhibition «Germans in Kyrgyzstan’s History» opens at the T. Gertsen Museum in Talas Oblast

The “Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva” International Public Foundation will open the exhibition titled “Germans in Kyrgyzstan’s History” at the Theodore Gertsen Museum in Ak-Dobo Village, Bakai-Ata Rayon, Talas Oblast November 6th, 2015.

 

The main objective of the exhibition is to present to the general public in Kyrgyzstan and the international community the history of Germans in Kyrgyzstan and their contribution to the economy and culture of the country, as well as to further highlight the path of integration and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany.

 

The artistic image of the exhibition is the way to finding a new country. Kyrgyzstan became the homeland of German settlers.

 

The exhibition will be represented by two major themes:

1. The historical context of Kyrgyzstan’s history from the second half of the 19th century through the 20th century

2. The Germans, whose contribution is invaluable to the history of Kyrgyzstan
