The International foundation “Roza Otunbayeva Initiative” was established and registered after I resigned as the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on December 1, 2011.
Together with the team, we conceive the foundation strategy, agenda and directions. The main topics of development arise in the process, which is why I called it an initiative. The foundation implements the ideas that I carried with me; ideas that I have long wanted to implement as a free floating person.
The Foundation’s initiatives are aimed at developing education, culture and art, supporting women and youth, as well as creating multicultural development platforms. Each of these initiatives has its own mission, but reflects the main vision of the Foundation – to help the people of Kyrgyzstan and the development of our country.
