Post-release of the round table «The role of the state and society in the creation of a favorable educational environment for children with disabilities»

The purpose of the round table has been defined as "The definition and coordination of actions of government agencies and the non-governmental sector in order to improve the learning environment of children with disabilities in Kyrgyzstan."

 

All participants of the presentation provided information on measures for state agencies, the non-governmental sector, and international organizations to take to create and improve the conditions for children with disabilities to education.

 

The participants of the round table were deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, the Ombudsman of the Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor and Social Development, UNICEF, universities and NGOs working in the field of inclusive education.

 

The round table showed that all parties strongly support the implementation of inclusive education and are willing to work together to address issues that are on the agenda.

 

In turn, the question of the promotion of inclusive education requires an understanding and assistance of the media, which can contribute to improving public awareness about inclusive education, in which each child can choose the suitable way of learning for him.
