Former President of the Kyrgyz Republic Roza Otunbayeva will pay a working visit to Talas, Jalalabad, Chui, Osh and Batken oblasts

From January to February 5 2015, the former President will visit Talas, Jalalabad, Chui, Osh and Batken oblasts as part of the "Promotion of state policy in the field of school feeding in the Kyrgyz Republic” project, implemented by the "Roza Otunbayeva Inititiative", in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Health, and with support from the World Food Programme.
She expects to meet with representatives of oblast administrations, local governments, councils, regional heads, pilot program heads, preschools, NGOs, youth, women leaders, representatives of pasture committees and others.
The purpose of this event is to increase awareness about the concept of a national school feeding program and the real results of the project.
On the trip she will visit public and private schools, discuss the organization of preschools at jailoos, hold a women's forum, promote reading to children projects "Bөbөk yry” and "Stars read to children", as well as attend the opening the new "Mөltүr" preschool in the village of Kara - Sai, in the Kara Buura district of Talas oblast.
