From 19 to 26 January, 10 trainings on the importance of reading at an early age for the development of children were held in 8 residential districts of Bishkek city within the framework of the "Mobile Development Center" projects. About 400 parents and 442 children took part in the training. One of the permanent participants of the training sessions organized in the framework of the "Mobile Development Center", a resident of the Dordoi residential area Pazylova Jyldyz shared her impressions: "Thanks to these trainings in 2017 I have learned and understood lot. The most important thing is that I devoted so little time to my 5 kids. Now I understand this and it upsets me. It is necessary to devote more time to children and their early development and upbringing. There are many parents like me who didn't pay attention to the development of children at an early age. I think through the participating in the "Mobile Development Center" trainings, we will take more experience and adopt practices in the early childhood development". Another training participant, also a mother of five children Shabdanova Tumar said: "I, having five children, did not attach importance to the early development of the children, although I sit at home and take care of children. Only now I felt and realized that I should devote more time to children. And thanks to this training I have realized today that my 4 years child has good drawing abilities that was a discovery for me". Kalmukambet kyzy Feruza, mother of two children: "I have two children. I take them to the "Mobile Development Center". Through participation in the training, I learned what attention parents should give to their children, what kind of games should parents play with them. Before, I did not devote enough time to my children, now I will devote more time to my daughter and play with her and answer to all her questions correctly and in a timely manner". During the training, in the framework of the project "The Stars Read to Kids", a well-known children's writer, Laureate of the State Prize named after Togolok Moldo 2012, winner of the contest among children's writers "UNICEF" 2004 and the Aga Khan Foundation in 2008 Akaeva Zhyldyz read her books, accompanied by questions and answers for parents and children. Also Akaeva Zhyldyz demonstrated to the training participants her hand-made dolls "Chi Kurchak". Executive Director of the "Roza Otunbayeva Initiative" International Public Foundation Kendirbayeva Dogdurkul made a presentation about the importance of reading to children from an early age and the importance of joint reading of parents and children. The expert on early development of children Agaidarova Aelita made a presentation on intellectual games devoted to children from 3 to 6 years old, which were immediately applied in the joint game of parents and children. All participants were delighted with the training and it's methods on using the joint work of parents and children.
