The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency under the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey (TIKA, Bishkek office) has been supporting the "Development Centers on Jailoo" for the second year in the acquisition of books and stationery. This year, TIKA provided support in the amount of 970,000 soms. With this funding, 55 development centers in jailoo throughout the Republic will be provided with toys and stationery.   The official presentation took place on June 22, 2017 in the building of the Ministry of Economy. The event was attended by the Coordinator of the Bishkek office of TIKA in Kyrgyzstan Evren Rutbil and the Executive Director of the "Roza Otunbayeva Initiative" International Public Foundation Dogdurgul Kendirbayeva as well as the coordinator of the "Development Centers on Jailoo" project Asylbek Zhodonbekov and others.   In 2017, from June to August, 100 development centers on jailoo are planned to be launched. There, children will be given the opportunity to develop and acquire new skills. The development centers on the jailoo are in remote mountain areas, on picturesque jailoo. The children of cattle breeders from 3 to 14 years old join center activities. Special training program has been developed for these children. Besides, artists, chess players, scientists, engineers, trainers, famous personalities, masters of art, and foreign volunteers will come to the centers to show different master classes to the children, as well as to teach them different skills. In addition, cattle breeders will be trained on the proper education of children, adolescent psychology, on the role of the father in the upbringing of the child, on the family budget, etc.   This year, special attention will be paid to parents.   The development centers on jailoo provide an opportunity to cover high-mountainous remote areas of the Kyrgyz Republic, thus increasing the coverage of children in Kyrgyzstan by pre-school education.   The opening of the Development Centers on jailoo is carried out by the initiative of the "Roza Otunbayeva Initiative" International Public Foundation in close cooperation with the Department of Pastures, Higher Educational Establishments, Children's Creativity Centers, District Education Departments and local self-government bodies.
