Also present for the concert was organized. Below is an article written by one of the participants of the project, Perizat Anarbekova, about the event: EXCURSION!!! So, I always thought that all that is connected with the technique (technical education) is not for the girl, and I had a question why most girls do not choose technical education? In our country the common stereotype that a woman should be a homemaker and his entire adult life, she must devote raising children and maintaining the atmosphere in the house. Many young women do not want to get a higher education, arguing that they are only wasting your time, because in order to maintain comfort in your home, do not need to finish university. Some of them still receive higher education "for show". 22% of girls enrolled in technical specialties do not want to devote himself entirely to the efforts of the house after graduation; among technical profiles - these girls were not found. For some reason many girls cannot imagine that education, career and home care can successfully combine without prejudice to any of these classes. Another stereotype is that, in my opinion, is very influenced by the choice of the girls is not in favor of technical sciences, this separation profiles learning "female" and "male". About this division begin to mention still in school, so on a subconscious level, children are divided on those items, which they based on sex to engage in "can" and those who "cannot." In support of his words I can say that the question of a journalist: "Why do not you have chosen technical specialty?" Many girls responded that it was "not feminine." 25% of students believe that in mathematics, physics and programming for women is not the place. There is another view of the majority of girls (and not only girls) that technical specialties at times harder to learn than anywhere else. It seems to me that if you enjoy the subject, but because of a fear of college choose a completely different profile, then you will spend much more effort on training and, in addition, to torment yourself with doubts about the correctness of his choice. Today's hike in Polytechnic completely wiped out all the stereotypes. In today's world, in the world of technology need to be trained in the field of technology (because they are very much in demand in any case), and it does not matter you are a guy or a girl, that's why I am considering admission to biomedicine faculty. Today was a very productive and very turning, if today I did not go on a trip, I could not have known of the faculty. Thank our coordinator for what was called that considered this information is needed. And I also want to thank Polytechnic for such a warm welcome.
