In Kyrgyzstan, 77% of the surveyed university teachers use in teaching electronic materials, said the expert to analyze Kasim Baryktabasov April 29 at the roundtable "Situation Analysis of the Prospects for the Implementation of Open Educational Resources in Kyrgyzstan” in Bishkek.

According to him, they are developing their own materials, but only 13% of them post their materials in open access.

"When asked the reason, they said that they wanted to retain copyright. They are afraid that their materials will be used without permission," said Baryktabasov.
