Roza Otunbayeva visits community preschools in Jalal-Abad city and Suzak district

February 10, 2014 – The former president saw first hand the work of community preschools in the city of Jalal-Abad and the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region.

 

Representatives of international organizations and the local government, including the authorized representative Zh. Toromamatov and Suzak akim N. Mirzahmedov, accompanied former President Otunbayeva on her tour of the preschools.

 

The delegation visited Preschool 19 in the city of Jalal-Abad and the Baichechekei-2 preschool in Kamysh-Bashy village, Suzak district.

 

R. Otunbayeva expressed disappointment with the fact that children in the Baichechekei-2 preschool were not separated into groups by age, saying she “does not see high-quality preparation for school,” and “you cannot educate three to six-year-old children together.”
