Two-day conference for the "Living with Dignity" project begins in Tashkent

Today, April 18, a two-day conference for partner organizations of the "Living with Dignity" project began in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Representatives of the International Public Foundation Roza Otunbaeva Initiative, Public Foundation DIA, Public Organizations Dunoyi Sabz and Peshsafa from Tajikistan gathered at the event.

 

The "Living with Dignity" project aims to overcome gender stereotypes and discrimination and reduce gender-based violence in families through behavior change and economic empowerment.

 

The conference will review the results of the "Living with Dignity" project over the past year. Representatives of the participating organizations will share the results of their work, summarize the activities carried out, and assess their impact on the project's goals. In addition, the conference will facilitate discussions on perspectives and tasks for the coming year. Participants will define priorities and directions of activities and develop strategies for further promotion of the project and its goals.

 

The International Public Foundation Roza Otunbayeva Initiative in cooperation with the international organization International Alert implements the project "Living with Dignity" in the village of Ivanovka, Issyk-Ata district, Chui region.
