"Tatyktuu Jashoo - Living with Dignity: International Alert's Gender Glossary Workshop

On March 28, International Alert hosted a workshop to finalize the Gender Glossary. The event brought together representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Roza Otunbaeva Initiative Foundation, the DIA Public Foundation, as well as partner organizations and independent experts. Participants familiarized themselves with gender terminology and offered their recommendations for improvement in order to finalize the glossary.

The Gender Glossary, developed by International Alert as part of the Living with Dignity project, was presented at the workshop as a key tool for standardizing and using gender terminology to facilitate more effective information sharing and understanding of gender issues.

In addition, a workshop on the activities of the "Living with Dignity" project was held on March 29 to present the results of the first phase of work and to discuss plans for the second phase.

The "Living with Dignity" project is implemented by the International Public Foundation Roza Otunbaeva Initiative together with the partner organization International Alert since 2023. The project aims to combat gender stereotypes, discrimination and violence in the family, as well as to expand economic opportunities for families.
