The final workshop of the Local Committee for the Prevention of Domestic Violence of Ken Bulun Local Government was held

On March 19, the final workshop of the Local Committee for the Prevention of Domestic Violence of Ken Bulun Local Government was held.

The fourth and final seminar for the Local Committee for the Prevention of Domestic Violence of Ken Bulun local government took place on March 19.

Participants received training on new topics essential for active and successful work with survivors of family violence.

The topic "Responding to domestic violence and providing assistance to victims of domestic violence" was practiced through scenarios involving a minor and a woman as "victims" The participants engaged in dialogues, practiced asking the right questions, and performed on-the-spot actions. Additionally, they worked on addressing mistakes, recognizing, for example, that a person who has suffered physical violence may be afraid of physical touch.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the participants completed a post-test.

The most active participants in the workshops will be included in the newly created Committee for the Prevention of Domestic Violence in Ken Bulun local government and will commence their work after receiving certificates. We wish them success in their challenging yet crucial work!
