Orientation Meeting in the Batken Region: Accelerating the Implementation of the National Development Program and Scaling Up Government Accelerators in Preschool Education

On December 21-22, 2023, an orientation meeting was held in the Great Hall of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Batken region. The purpose of the meeting was to expedite the implementation of the National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2026. The event also focused on enhancing the government's accelerator program in preschool education and addressing health protection issues affecting citizens in the region.


The goal of the event was to inform participants and encourage their active involvement in the implementation of several key programs, including the National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2026, the Government's accelerator program in preschool education, and strategies for achieving gender equality and ensuring public safety.


The event saw the presence of Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Batken region, Isakov J.M., Authorized Representative for Children's Rights under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Chynybaeva A.R., as well as representatives from the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President. Additionally, heads and staff from healthcare organizations, local activists, and experts participated. Heads of women's civil society organizations and representatives from village councils of nine pilot Remote Areas were also in attendance.


This event is organized within the framework of the project "Active Women's Civil Society Organizations of Kyrgyzstan for Peace" implemented by UN Women, Roza Otunbaeva Initiative Foundation, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in partnership with Search for Common Ground, Camp Alatoo, and "Civic Platform" with financial support from the Peacebuilding Foundation.
