June 29, 2022, 22:48

Among the goals of the Roza Otunbaeva Initiative International Public Foundation, within the "Girls in Science" project, is to prepare 400 girls in Bishkek city, Osh, and Chui regions for the Nationwide Test with a focus on STEM subjects.

Last year 215 girls have already attended intensive courses to prepare for the Nationwide Test for admission to universities in the Kyrgyz Republic and abroad. Seventy-two percent of the girls entered universities in the Kyrgyz Republic and abroad on STEM fields, including 39% who received full state funding for their studies.

This inspiring video tells about one of the participants of the "Girls in Science" project, Sezim Zholdoshbekova, who took a Nationwide Test course, got into an IT field, and learned how to "choose the right stones”.

The International Public Foundation "Roza Otunbaeva Initiative" implements the project "Girls in Science" with the financial support of UNICEF Representative Office in the Kyrgyz Republic, in partnership with the AUCA Innovation College and the Public Association "Center for Child Protection".
