We have to recall during the first and second stages of the mentorship program for "Girls in Science", 113 mentors were selected and trained, and they actively worked with mentees for five months. The mentors held regular meetings with the project participants, worked on ineffective and stereotypical attitudes of the mentee, and developed a culture of communication and social behaviour.

Successful and progressive women from Kyrgyz business associations, and STEM professions, were also selected for the third stage of the mentoring programme.

The goal of the mentoring programme is to build an effective education system focused on the involvement of girls in STEM education and a patriotic upbringing.

Within the "Girls in Science" project (2021-2022),150 mentors and 2,600 girls from pilot schools in Bishkek, Alamedin and Sokuluk districts of the Chui region, and Osh and Kara-Suu districts of the Osh region, were selected. Each mentor will be assigned a group of 7th to 10th grade girls from schools in Bishkek, Osh and the Chui regions.
