Thank you letter from the National Association "Union of People Living with HIV” of Kyrgyzstan

The National Association "Union of People Living with HIV," with financial assistance from the Global Fund for HIV,held the third National Forum of the association of people living with HIV on May 16-17, 2013. The forum was held at a high level with the participation of former President of the Kyrgyz Republic Ms. Roza Otunbayeva, United Nations Development Program Resident Representative Mr. Alexander Avanyesov, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative in the Osh Region Mr. A.M. Mukhammadov, and representatives of government services.

 

There were discussions of the problems and solutions to those problems. It was very encouraging that on the first day of the forum, thanks to the participation of Ms. Otunbayeva and Mr. Avanyesov, a priest from the Orthodox Church and the head of the Muslim clergy were invited. The participation of spiritual judges also inspired people and then all together honored the memory of those who died from AIDS.

 

At the conclusion of the forum, President Otunbayeva received a thank you letter from the National Association "Union of People Living with HIV."
