In Bishkek, a discussion on the experience and innovation in extracurricular musical education

A roundtable on “Experience and Innovation in Extracurricular Musical Education” was held at the Shubina Music School on June 15, 2013.
Teachers at the children’s music school, music teachers at general education schools, deputy school directors responsible for pedagogy, professors from the K. Moldobasanov Kyrgyz National Conservatory, leaders of musical ensembles, and special experts discussed the possibility of increasing the quality of music education for school children. According to their opinions, classical and traditional musical art has a positive affect on the psychology of adolescents, develops their imaginations, and shapes their artistic taste.
The meeting was organized by the Roza Otunbayeva Initiative and the Kyrgyz National Conservatory.
