Photo report: Planting seedlings in 4 schools of Bishkek city

On October 30, 2015 "Greening Fund" created by the initiative of KICB, the Aga Khan Foundation, "Kumtor Operating Company", and "Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva" International Public Foundation planted more than 2,600 trees and shrubs in schools number 22, 30, 34 and 82.
The selection of trees and shrubs supposed to be planted in schools yards was made in accordance with local conditions and the advice of experts - ecologists and intention of students and teachers to take care of plants.
The planting ceremony held in 4 schools was attended by representatives of the "Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva" IPF, KICB, the Aga Khan Foundation and the students of the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University.
The ceremony was conducted in a warm and friendly atmosphere with active participation of students and teachers. Members of the "Greening Fund" expressed their hope that each tree planted by the students will be their common concern and real contribution to the greening not only in schools, but also the in city.
