«Stars read books to children»: singer Guljigit Kalykov

Our “Stars read books to children” project has continued on with its own work. On Saturday, November 21, the talented singer and first place winner of the “Eurasian Star” contest Guljigit Kalykov was the children’s guest.

Guljigit chose to read Kyrgyz fairy tales to the children. The pleasant atmosphere, sitting closely, listening to fairy tales with lessons, the star’s presence—all of these, of course, were the reasons the children didn’t want to leave the story telling and didn’t want to let the star go.

As a reminder, the meetings for the project “Stars read books to children” will continue to meet every week on Saturday at 11:00 at the book store “Raritet” at the following address: Chui st. #271. The main goal of the project is the promotion of a culture of reading, instilling in children an interest in reading, and the revitilization of creative ideas. Presently, few children read books, and this is has a negative influence on their character and the development of their creative potential. The project’s steadfast elements of instilling the custom of reading and a love for books draws the attention of society to just how important it is to read books aloud to children.
