Training in Batken Oblast on the theme «Protecting nature for pre-school aged children and creating relationships among summer pasture kindergartens for developing education»

The “Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva” International Public Foundation conducted a seminar under the project “Improving infrastructure for water and pasture resource management and increasing the potential of local institutions.” The project is being implemented by Aga Khan Fund with financial support from the British Embassy. Twenty people attended the training. Participants included kindergarten and summer pasture kindergarten leaders and educators of Batken Oblast, pasture committee members, and Plenipotentiary Representatives of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in Batken oblast and Batken National University.
The training was in three blocks. The first block’s themes emphasized emergency communication preparedness and cultural richness and developing the ability of kindergartens to create good working relationships between representatives of kindergartens near the borders of separate regions.
In the second block, the ecological education of children is emphasized. Very practical ecological games for children were presented during ecological master-classes. With those games, information was presented to children and parents on the importance of taking action to care for and protect the world around us.
In the third block, the importance of raising children well from a very young age, developing scientific methods and the use of successes, serving society well, and improving the quality of preparing children in kindergartens was given attention. Also the issue of publishing books with accounts of good relationships between Kyrgyz and Tajik peoples was looked at. In addition, information was given to participants about the work and future of the “Jailoo Kindergarten – 2015” project.
