From the 1st to the 6th of July, 2015, the group “Enactus KSTU”, which won 2nd place in the national competition, “Enactus Kyrgyzstan” (May 23rd this year), visited the jailoo kindergartens of the Chui (Suusamyr) and Naryn (Kochkor) regions.

The team consisted of: Koomanov Sultan – leader, Chokubashev Kazybek – assistant, Momunkulova Dilbara – speaker, Mederbek Baizak – speaker, and Sadabaeva Altymay – speaker.

The team prepared an interesting program for the children in the Jailoo kindergartens, consisting of experiments such as the pumping of water by means of a vacuum, the experiment of a ball and egg in a glass, and the assembly and demonstration of a solar-powered oven. This list of experiments and competitions, in which the kids and their parents can participate, is not complete.

The “Solar-powered Oven” experiment is primed at solving the problems with blackouts. The team proposed an alternative way to generate electricity by means of a simple device that can be made with improvised tools. The project’s goal is to help families who live on the outskirts of the city and in remote villages of the region.

Team Enactus of the Kyrgyz State Technical University is the youngest team which opened up earlier this year.
