 With the cooperation of the IPF "Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva" with the Center for Leadership "Open World" since the beginning of 2015 the United States attended the 2 groups of participants.

The first group, on the theme "Women in Engineering and Science”, visited North Carolina in February.

Purpose of travel:

- Familiarity with the organizations involved in the support of women in science and technology;

- Familiarity with the US higher education system;

- Strengthening ties with US universities for further cooperation.

 

Delegates were Anipa Usupkozhoeva - Director of the Kyrgyz-German Technical Institute at KSTU im.I.Razzakova; Meerim Imash kyzy - deputy dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences KTU "Manas"; Murat Dzhumashev - Representative IT Attractor; Jyldyz Artykova - Senior Lecturer, Department of Computer Science Osh State University; Gulshan Ergeshova - senior lecturer at Osh Technological University, the department "Software computer technology and automated systems."

The second group of the program "Business mentoring" visited in March, Mississippi, Dzhekson, the delegation included Aidarbek Gyyazov - Head of the Economic Disciplines Kyzyl-Kia Institute of Technology, Economics and Law of Batken State University; Seyil Nazhimudinova - Acting Associate Professor of "Economics and Management" KTU "Manas"; Sultan Rakhmanov - Executive Director of the NGO "Institute of Management Consultants", Osh; Genghis Abdykasymov - co-founder of the design studio “Mozgami”; Begaim Tulegenova - IPF "Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva.

The purpose of the trip the group - the study of the Institute for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Mississippi College, meeting with local business providing services in the field of media, business consulting, law, marketing, finance, moreover, visited the restaurant business and hydroponic greenhouses.

During the trip, each of the delegates gained and gained experience for the development of its activities. For example, attracting women in technical specialties prepared by members of the program. Teachers will use the business cases in his lectures to study students.

About the program: Open World - Leadership Center - one of the most effective US exchange programs with post-Soviet countries. The program provides an opportunity to talented professionals and leaders in their fields, working in business and in the civilian sector to spend 10 days in the United States to exchange views with representatives of the relevant structures of the United States, business and NGOs to share professional expertise through formal meetings scheduled, to communicate with their American counterparts and host families who are interested in long-term cooperation and maintaining contacts is ten visits to the United States.
