Asks ex-president Roza Otunbayeva to the participants of the forum at the women's regional forum in Jalal-Abad on April 3.

According to Otunbayeva, "[Jalal-Abad] is an industrial region that is rich in natural resources and energy sources. We need to interest our women in professions related to the exploration, oil and gas industry. This is required by today's realities. Why can’t Kyrgyz women work at Bozymchak, GESah, Ishtamberdy? We must think about the future of Kyrgyzstan, I believe that we need to educate our women in these professions. We cannot develop the country with needlework. The mother of our great writer Chyngyz Aitmatov, Nagiyma, opened 5 cooperatives in Jalal-Abad. We admire the Hero of Socialist Labor Olmoskan Atabekova, foreman in Asylkan Akmatova working for a cotton farm. Everyone admires her team as well, which was called "sixteen girls," - she said.
