With the full house a concert-lecture «Music - soul of the people», dedicated to the Azerbaijani musical culture

March 17, 2015 in the Great Hall of the Kyrgyz National Conservatory hosted a concert-lecture dedicated to the Azerbaijani musical culture within the project "Music - the soul of the people." The concert was organized by the World Public Forum "Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva" together with the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the financial support of UNESCO, which supported the project.

At the concert, which was held at the notice were presented: a musical tradition of celebrating Nooruz, dancing and music, both modern and ancient. There were an excerpt from the epic "Manas" in the Azerbaijani language and an excerpt from the world-famous operetta "Arshin Mal Alan" by the founder of the Azerbaijani opera U. Hajibeyov in the Kyrgyz language.

The concert provided an opportunity for residents of Bishkek to meet with several monuments of Azerbaijani musical culture included in the List of Intangible Heritage by UNESCO - the art of mugham and hear the sound of the packaging, the manufacturing process is also included in this list.

Decoration of the program was the presentation of People's Artist of Azerbaijan Melekhanum Eyubov, one of the best performers of mugham in the last decade.
