The National Conservatory hosted a concert of Uighur music

On Feb. 28, the city residents were able to attend a concert presentation of the musical culture of the Uighur called "Music - the soul of the people," according to organizers of the concert.


"The concert program sounded Uighur musical instruments, 12 Mukams - intangible heritage of UNESCO Amanisahan - Princess and musicologist, dance with a bowl and a lot more about music, dances and traditions of Uighurs in Kyrgyzstan", - said in a statement.


It is noted that the concert was organized by the International Foundation "Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva" Kyrgyz National Conservatory, the Assembly of Peoples of Kyrgyzstan with the support of UNDP.
