A «Caravan of Knowledge» event was held in the secondary school № 82

February 21 at secondary school № 82 ("Ala-Too" area) experienced the second "Caravan of Knowledge: Mobile Natural Sciences Workshop", which had representatives of the International Public Foundation "Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva" and public fund "Taalim Forum".

Representatives of the Foundation "Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva" presented its eco-project "Think Globally - Act locally: Improving Environmental Responsibility among Children and Youth” to students.

Representatives of the Foundation "Taalim Forum" presented to students of the 9th and 10th grade about environmental issues in Bishkek followed by discussions on the theme of ecology, showed the documentary "Positive City" and held a quiz. According to the results of the quiz, some lucky students received books published by "Taalim Forum" as prizes, including the popular encyclopedia "Wildlife of Kyrgyzstan", as well as educational books and coloring for their younger brothers and sisters.

It is worth noting more active pupils of secondary school № 82 in the discussion of the environmental problems of the city.

After the event they shared their impressions:

"I really enjoyed this event, as we have learned a lot here, and also could share their opinions and views" - Adinay Kurmanbekova, a student of class 10.

"I really liked this eco-project, as today we see that every day we wither trees. My parents in their area are trying to grow their own vegetables and fruits. And it seems to me better "- Bekzhan Satiev, a pupil in grade 9.

"At a time when we lived our grandparents did not have plastic bags, they have all the items used in everyday life, were natural. Therefore, they have much better health than present youth. Recall that the "Caravan of knowledge: Mobile Natural Sciences Workshop" was initiated by the International Foundation "Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva" and organized in collaboration with the Department of Education of Bishkek City Hall with the active participation of environmental organizations.
