Letter of Exequtive Director of Nizami Ganjavi International Center for Board Members

Honorable Board Members of Nizami Ganjavi Center, 

I am very honored to inform about great initiative organized and hosted by HE Dr Roza Otunbayeva in Bishkek capital of Kyrgyzstan. 

Even from first step to Bishkek it looks like a miracle everywhere is under snow. 

23rd of November Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva foundation hosted a night in Honor great Sage Nizami Ganjavi at National Library of Kyrgyzstan. Exhibition of Donation of books Nizami by HE Dr Roza Otunbayeva to National Library, Kyrgyz books on Nizami, his illustrations. 

The conference started with speech of HE Dr Roza Otunbayeva and it inspired a lot and everyone, for me personally giving lots of proud for this legacy and once more proving how it was important to establish this Center which will be ale to do something for this Titanic Treasure. Scholars, Parliamentarians, Poets made speech on how Nizami inspired generations, poets, cultures. 

Then we had a cultural part, I was deeply touched when they showed Arshin Mal Alan (greatest Azerbaijan musical creation of ever of Uzeyir Hajibeyov) with highest professionalism and with love, and all other performances.

It seemed all Bishkek giving salut to Nizami Ganjavi as 24th November several events also happened as Book Festival and theater where talented actor presented Majnun from different great poets who inspired by Nizami writing Layli and Majnun. 

Evening it was a true present for any Azeri to attend concert in honor 70th anniversary of Great Muslim Magomayev who’s songs lives in our hurts and each one has or related to part of our life. 3 amazing singers from Moscow gave a real master class. 

It is with lots of feelings and emotions that is so difficult to put in words, but want to Thank so much HE Dr Roza Otunbayeva for her initiative, leadership, friendship and hospitality she showed. I am sure we will do everything whatever is possible to make this initiatives always continue and build a cultural bridge for our people’s.
