Bishkek hosts «Music, Soul of the People: Dungan» concert-presentation

23rd March – Now inviting all Bishkek residents and guests to the concert-presentation:
“Music, Soul of the People: Dungan,”
Dedicated to one of the most mysterious cultures in Kyrgyzstan, the Dungan.
The concert will take place on March 23 at 3 p.m.
in the large auditorium of the Moldobasanov Kyrgyz National Conservatory
(Address: 115 Djentoshev St., near the Sovietskaya intersection).
Admission is free!
Previous “Music, Soul of the People” concerts celebrated Korean, Ukrainian, Kazakh and North Caucasian music.
The Dungans have a rich a beautiful culture with many instruments, fine dancing, colorful costumes, hairstyles and, of course, delicious cuisine. This concert will provide you and your loved ones or friends with the opportunity to get up close and personal with Dungan culture.
