Books and Toys Charity Collection Drive

The “Roza Otunbayeva Initiative” International Development Fund, the “’Kurak’ Women’s Forum”, national NGOs, business associations and international organizations invite all who wish to participate in a New Year’s books and toys charity collection drive. Generous gifts collected in 2013 have spoiled village kindergartens, so gifts will now be sent to jailoo kindergartens.
Grown children have toys and books that can be given to needy children. We trust that many good people will wish to make gifts, and we want to demonstrate that generosity to our nation’s children.
We will collect books and toys up until the 20th of December 2013
Collection boxes for books and toys will be placed at the following locations around the city:
• “Aichurok” Central Department Store, 155 Chui Ave. (2nd and 3rd floors, between the up and down escalators)
• Dordoi Plaza shopping center, 115 Ibrahimov Street (1st floor)
• Children’s World shopping-play center, 147/4 Chui, at the intersection of Chui and Ibrahimov.
• “Kyrgyzstan” Insurance Company office, 76-6 Moskva Street.
• “Kalikova & Associates” law firm offices, 71 Erkindik Ave.
• “Prego” Restaurant, 219 Chui Ave.
• “Dilbar” fashion house store
• Hyatt Regency Bishkek hotel, 191 Soviet Street.
Our boxes will be green with red outlines.
Important: We will only be able to accept books and toys that are clean and in good condition.
