From the Great Wall of China to the "unicorn" companies: a new book, "China Today", is published

The Roza Otunbaeva Initiative International Public Foundation has published an encyclopedia of modern China. It is a guide-book publication which takes you on a fascinating journey through the mysterious country and reveals the secret of golden roofs of imperial palaces, why cash is not used in China, what makes Chinese "unicorn" companies famous, where the "Eye of Heaven" is located, what the most complicated Chinese character means, why modern Chinese art is one of the most popular in the world, and many other great Chinese inventions which we use today.

It is complete with colorful drawings, puzzles and QR codes, with which you can quickly find and watch videos, some in English.

The book is addressed to everyone who is interested in the history of countries and peoples of the world and for those who want to know more about modern China.

The idea for the book belongs to Roza Otunbaeva, founder of the “Roza Otunbaeva Initiative” foundation and former President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
