Charity Concert “Tomorrow – Spring!” To Be Held
February 27, 2013, 06:00On 28 February 2013 in the Large Concert Hall of the Kyrgyz National Conservatory, the “Tomorrow – Spring! Seasons of the Year in Music” concert will be held for Bishkek area school students. This will be the eighth concert-lecture in the “Together With Music” cycle organized by the “Roza Otunbayeva Initiative”, Bishkek Municipal Government, the Kyrgyz National Conservatory, and the “Arysh” and Eraim” foundations. The concert will begin at 15:00.
The theme of the concert lecture will be the “prompting” of the relentlessly oncoming spring. Young students will learn that nature and the richness of her colors have always inspired the works of composers, poets, and artists. First, this is “representational” music, musical landscapes brought to life in sound. At the same time it is “expressive music,” reflecting the feelings of every person who subtly, creatively and harmoniously sees the beauty of nature and her formidable elements.
The concert will acquaint the young concertgoers with works dedicated to the magical cycle of seasons. They will hear works by Toktogul Satylganov, as well as Antonio Vivaldi (Italy), Johann Strauss (Austria), Kar Karaev (Azerbaijan), Leroy Anderson (USA), Almas Serkebaev (Kazakhstan) and the poetry of Alexander Pushkin, Alykul Osmonov, and Mairamkan Abylkasymova.
Participating in the concert will be the “Manas” Presidential Chamber Orchestra. The director, lead conductor and orchestral soloist is Ernis Asanaliev, Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic. Also participating in the program will be KNC graduates; Tilek Naimanbaev, a soloist from the Opera and Ballet Theatre named for Maldybaev; Andrei Balim, a student at the Conservatory; and the master of ceremonies, Ekaterina Luzanova, Ph.D.
The goal of the musical educational project, “Together With Music”, is the aesthetic education of a new generation of listeners, introducing this generation to the world of global and national classical music, and the identification of young talents.
