Kemin will host a nutrition training seminar

November 5, 2018 in Kemin (Chui oblast) a training seminar on nutrition will be held for representatives of health care, education, and decision makers .

 

The purpose of the training is to form accurate ideas about the values of health and food culture, food components and their role in the human body, foodborne diseases, as well as such concepts as “Food Pyramid” (food pyramid), “Healthy plate”, “Fruit rainbow wheel "and a “window of opportunity “ (nutrition of a pregnant woman, breastfeeding, nutrition of a child under two years old).

 

The seminar's trainer will be Kydyraliev Nurudin Abdynazarovich - Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Restaurant and Cooking Art of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.

 

The nutrition training workshop is held within the framework of the joint project “Raising Public Awareness on the Basics of Good Nutrition and Developing Good Nutrition Skills by Increasing the Capacity of Representatives of Local Government Institutions and Civil Society” by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO UN) “Roza Otunbayeva Initiative " Foundation, and with the financial support of the Russian Federation.
